A group of 2nd year students travelled to Manchester recently. The students travelled by ferry and made their first stop at Waterworld in Stoke-On-Trent, which they all thoroughly enjoyed. After a long day of travelling, the students checked into their hotel and enjoyed a group dinner together. It was then time to relax and unwind in preparation for the following day's activities. On day two, the students' excitement levels were skyrocketing as they attended the Man United vs. West Ham soccer match in Old Trafford. Unfortunately for our Man Utd. fans, the team was defeated 2-0 by West Ham. However, the lads still thoroughly enjoyed the game and the cheering and chanting in the stadium. After the soccer game, the students' fun continued with some friendly competition between them in the bowling alley. The students then headed to Holyhead to begin their journey home after an unforgettable experience. Well done to all the students who were so well-behaved and were great representatives for our school. Thank you to Mr. Enright for organising the annual Manchester trip and to all the teachers who accompanied the students as without them this experience would not be possible.
