3rd, 5th & 6th year students went to Emerald Park on Wednesday for their end of year school tour. They had great fun on all of the amusements but, in particular, the thrill-seeking Cu Chulainn roller coaster and the water ride Viking Voyage. The students explored other areas of the theme park, such as the petting farm, the wildlife zoo, and the world of raptors. The students had a fantastic time! It was a wonderful break from talking about upcoming exams and study. We hope their batteries are recharged and ready for the next few weeks as they prepare for the Junior Cert and Leaving Cert exams. A huge thank you to the Yearheads Mr. Galvin, Ms. Laffan and Mr. Collins for organising the tour and to all the teachers who accompanied students on the day. Classes Oak and Willow also went to Emerald Park last Wednesday with their teachers Ms. Mulvihill and Ms. Markes and their SNAs. The students from Oak and Willow had great fun throughout the day.
