A huge thank you to our transition year students who organised and hosted our Longford Hospice Homecare coffee morning today. Our staff and students enjoyed gathering in the canteen and staffroom over a cuppa and some tasty treats. Many thanks to the staff and students who brought in cakes, buns and biscuits. A huge thanks to Caitriona, Richie, and the canteen staff for their amazing support. It was great to see Fr Tony call in and support this worthy fundraiser; he spoke to the organising group about the impact their efforts will have on local families as they face illnesses that the hospice support. Our total will be announced tomorrow once we receive the final donations. Anyone who would still like to donate can do so tomorrow by paying Ms Mulvihill, Ms McGuinness or at the office. Again, a huge thank you to everyone for their amazing support today and especially to TYA who worked so hard to organise this event.
