U-14 Football team win North Leinster Final

Well done to the U-14 footballers who had a great win in the final of the North Leinster Championship v St Marys Edenderry. The game was played at blistering pace throughout and although our team were playing quite well in the first half they were hit with three sucker punch goals from a very slick attack and went into the break trailing 3-3 to 0-8.

They were up against it but they showed tremendous determination and skill to dominate the second half and three goals from Matthew Flynn,Paddy Moran and Colm Coyle paved the way for victory. The back line got to terms with the Marys attack and held them scoreless for the second half.

The team have now qualified for the Leinster A Final v old foes Good Counsel ,New Ross and the game is fixed for two weeks time.

Well done to Head Coach Mr Garvey,Assistant coach Miss Cassidy and Mr Quinn for all the time they put into the panel since September.
