First year students are taken on an outdoor pursuits tour which always proves to be an enjoyable day. Second year students have the most eagerly awaited tour to a premiership league football match which leaves students with life long friendships and memories. Other trips include the German class visit to Berlin, Science trips to Abbot, English theatre visits, Geography field trips, CSPE class trip to Castlerea prison and Transition Year trips to Croke Patrick, London and many more exciting places!
As first years are not allowed up town during lunchtimes a games room will be open. This room gives students a warm space where they can have fun and unwind during lunch time with their friends. Facilities include a pool table, table tennis, computer games, board games, air hockey and lots more.
Transition year students under the guidance of Ms Quinn have been working to get the college its first green flag. The school community are encouraged to be environmentally aware and actively involved in respecting our environment through recycling, energy conservation and litter patrols.
