Friday 29 Sept 1865 St Mel’s opened with 48 boarders & 28 day boys. Today we said happy 150th birthday!
Fr James Reynolds was the 1st President in 1865. Today Declan Rowley is the 3rd lay Principal.
Fr Joe McGrath led us in prayer as we remembered all priests,teachers & pupils in Mel’s since 1865.
